More great news from the Nuart in West Los Angeles...The Last American Virgin is playing on May 23rd at midnight! This is the 1982 coming-of-age classic from director Boaz Davidson that is a remake of the 1979 international hit Lemon Popsicle. Mark your calendars.
Coincidentally, I saw Lawrence Monoson, the Last American Virgin himself, in the celebrity autograph room at Creation's "Sci-fi Summit" over the weekend in Pasadena. He was there because he had apparently been in an episode of Enterprise. I told him about cannonfilms.com and we chatted for a little bit about the movie. He said he's still friendly with Steve Antin and Diane Franklin, and that he recently had a role in an action picture that Boaz Davidson produced for Nu Image.

Please take a moment to visit what I believe is the Web's only site on the Cannon Movie Tales series, created by our friend Mystacor. Please be sure to check it out. The address is: www.geocities.com/cannon_tales
Also, we've heard from Marc at the Nuart that his Feb. 14th screening of The Apple has touched off a wave of Apple revivial mania. Landmark's Egyptian theatre in Seattle will have a Friday/Saturday midnight show on April 11 & 12, and then it will move on to Landmark's River Oaks theatre in Houston for a Fri/Sat midnight show on April 25 & 26. All those Cannon buffs in Seattle and Houston please show up to show your support!
