It looks like the Death Wish sequels 2-4, which will be released on DVD on February 3rd, will be full-screen with little to nothing in the way of special features. Just FYI ... I'll probably keep watching my old big-box versions of them until something really great comes along.
Update: It has been pointed out to me that the Death Wish sequels were filmed "open matte," which means that the negative is actually TV aspect ratio. So I guess we won't really be missing anything, although they were originally intended to be matted 1.85:1.
Also, something I forgot to include is that King Solomon's Mines and Allan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold will also be released on DVD on February 3rd. These are supposedly widescreen.
